NEW CHANCE FOR A BETTER LIFE
The ADELI Medical Centre is one of the leading institutes in Europe specialising in neurorehabilitation. The institute is licensed and active in the following fields of medicine: neurology, medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, rheumatology, balneology, clinical speech therapy and intensive medicine.
With more than 18 years of experience and more than 260 qualified employees, ADELI provides its unique treatment mainly for people suffering from damage to their central nervous system (such as cerebral palsy, stroke, and traumatic brain injury). These conditions are usually caused by birth trauma, brain haemorrhage, cerebrovascular accident or intracranial injury.
What makes ADELI special is the high intensity and individuality of the neurorehabilitation. A patient is accompanied through his or her daily treatment programme by five or six specialists, for 4 to 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. With approximately 30 hours of therapy per week, ADELI Medical Center is the European leader in the intensity of the treatment.
ADELI therapy is based on rare and highly specialised treatments, some of which originate in space or underwater neurology and intensive medicine. Good examples are dynamic proprioceptive stimulation with application of devices from space medicine or oxygen therapy in a highly modern hyperbaric chamber and many other concepts with their respective combinations.
Treatment Programme
The treatment programme is structured according to the diagnosis, anamnesis, current condition of the patient and his/her prognosis for progress. The treatment includes fixed, variable and additional therapy components that are structured according to the case history and the subsequent recommendations of the doctor in-charge.

Reactivating Dormant Brain Cells - at ADELI
Even in areas of the brain that are no longer supplied with blood, hyperbaric oxygenation leads to re-oxygenation of the damaged areas and inactive cells. Dormant neurons are reactivated, and the restoration of certain brain functions is made possible.
It is important that the new brain capacities are supported immediately after their activation: intensive neurorehabilitation and proprioceptive stimulation at the ADELI Medical Center is a proven method to relearn the right locomotor functions and implement them as independently as possible.
Big dedication for little patients
The intensive rehabilitation treatment for children in the ADELI Medical Center:
lasts either two, three or four weeks, based on the diagnosis, condition and degree of disability of each patient
takes place six days a week, and four to five hours per day
is carried out by a team of physiotherapists, manual doctors, nurses and other specalists, led by the attending physician, who observe the patient, correct deformities and ensure the high quality of the treatment
is individualised in order to support the development of the child with the objective to enable a normal and independent life as far as possible
